Exclusive video

Worth repeating

“2010-2011 could be an exciting year for CBJ fans as the team seems to be getting better and better. A couple of moves and they should be right there in the end.”

Special report: Where are the former Jackets?

Jackets-Islanders preview
Tuesday,  December 29, 2009 2:58 AM

7 tonight

Nassau Coliseum

Long Island, N.Y.

  • TV: Fox Sports Net

The series

The Blue Jackets are 7-1-2 against the Islanders, including 2-1-1 in Nassau Coliseum.

The setup

The Blue Jackets should have newly-acquired defenseman Milan Jurcina and forward Chris Clark available, and it will be interesting to see where they are plugged into the lineup. The last trip to Long Island (Nov. 3, 2008) was Fredrik Norrena's last game as a Blue Jacket.
