The series

The Blue Jackets are 12-17-4-1 against the Coyotes, including 7-9-1-0 in Nationwide Arena. This is the third of six meetings this season.

The setup

Anybody remember the last time the Blue Jackets established a forecheck? The Jackets won 2-0 in Phoenix on Oct. 10, but the Coyotes got even Oct. 28, a 4-1 victory in Nationwide. Phoenix has won the past four games in Nationwide, outscoring the Blue Jackets 16-7. Phoenix won 6-3 last night at Toronto.
