The seriesThe Blue Jackets are 8-22-1-1 against the Avalanche, including 5-10-1-0 in Nationwide Arena. This is the first of four meetings this season. The setupColorado captain Adam Foote makes his first appearance in Nationwide Arena since he was traded by the Blue Jackets to the Avalanche on Feb. 26, 2008.
