THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
Blue Jackets vs. Hurricanes
7 TONIGHT, NATIONWIDE ARENA
- TV: Fox Sports Net
- Radio: WBNS-AM (1460); WWCD-FM (101.1)
The series
The Blue Jackets are 4-6-0 against the Hurricanes, including 2-2-0 in Nationwide Arena. This is
the only meeting this season.
The setup
The Blue Jackets are 0-1-2 in their past three home games, going without a win in Nationwide
Arena since Oct. 17 vs. Los Angeles. The Hurricanes extended their winless streak to 11 games last
night with a home loss to Toronto, a meeting of the NHL's two worst clubs. Former Blue Jacket Ray
Whitney is unlikely to play tonight because of an upper-body injury. The Hurricanes are also
without top center Eric Staal.
