Exclusive video

Worth repeating

“2010-2011 could be an exciting year for CBJ fans as the team seems to be getting better and better. A couple of moves and they should be right there in the end.”

John Moore

Pick: No. 26

• Born: Nov. 19, 1990 (Chicago)

• Position: Defense

• Height: 6-2 Weight: 189

• Shoots: Left

• 2008-09: 14 goals, 25 assists in 57 games with the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League

• Notes: Ranked sixth among North American skaters by NHL's Central Scouting Service. A superb skater, with an explosive first two strides. Will likely play for Kitchener in the Ontario Hockey League next season.

Kevin Lynch

Pick: No. 56

• Born: April 23, 1991 (Grosse Pointe, Mich.)

• Position: Center

• Height: 6-1 Weight: 190

• Shoots: Right

• 2008-09: 18 goals, 19 assists in 54 games with the U.S. National Team Development Program

• Notes: Will play at Michigan next season. Very solid defensively, but only started showing scoring touch late last season. Could be moved to the wing next season.

David Savard

Pick: No. 94

• Born: Oct. 22, 1990 (St. Hyacinthe, Quebec)

• Position: Defense

• Height: 6-2 Weight: 200

• Shoots: Right

• 2008-09: Nine goals, 35 assists in 68 games with Moncton of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

• Notes: Ranked the 104th-best North American prospect according to central scouting. Big body and pretty good skills, but needs lots of work playing in his own zone.

Thomas Larkin

Pick: No. 137

• Born: Dec. 31, 1990 (London)

• Position: Defense

• Height: 6-5 Weight: 206

• Shoots: Right

• 2008-09: 14 goals, 32 assists in 31 games with Exeter Prep School in New Hampshire

Anton Blomqvist

Pick: No. 167

• Born: March 7, 1990 (Malmo, Sweden)

• Position: Defense

• Height: 6-4 Weight: 189

• Shoots: Left

• 2008-09: Two goals, 14 assists in 44 games with Malmo in Sweden's junior league

• Notes: Skates very well despite a Chris Pronger-like frame. Physical player, who looks for hits and reminds some scouts of Detroit's Niklas Kronwall. Will likely play in the Sweden Elite League this season.

Kyle Neuber

PICK: No. 197

• Born: March 22, 1989 (London, Ontario)

• Position: Right wing

• Height: 6-2 Weight: 220

• Shoots: Left

• 2008-09: Nine goals, three assists with Mississauga of the Ontario Hockey League

• Notes: Combative forward who drops his gloves and throws punches with a smile on his face. Had 135 penalty minutes last season, including 17 fighting majors. Could play for the Syracuse Crunch next season.
