Gagne has four goals, four assists
Sam Gagne had four goals — including a hat trick in the third period — and added four assists to have a hand in all eight goals as Edmonton ralled from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Chicago last night.
Gagner matched the Edmonton mark for points in a game previously shared by Hall of Famers Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey.
Gagne, who now has nine goals and 21 assists this season, tied the score at 2 in the second period, then scored twice in the first 6:25 of the third period. He capped his night with a wrister with 5:29 to play. Gagne assisted on goals by Taylor Hall, Ryan Whitney, Cam Barker and Jordan Eberle.

Ward posts 47-save shutout

Despite the high number of shots, the Bruins had few quality scoring chances and were booed by the home crowd. Tuukka Rask lost his third straight start.
